Outplacement Coaching

Outplacement coaching is offered at a time of job termination to assist an individual to come to terms with the loss of their job and to plan for finding a future role. Outplacement coaching is usually offered as one on one support and is delivered over two – three coaching sessions. It can also be offered for groups as part of a workshop program. The following is an outline of an Individual Outplacement Program: 
  • Review career path and next steps – review of career to date and options for the future; exploring the individual’s strengths and interests and identifying opportunities available in the market
  • Resume review and update – communicating skills, experience and history in a format that is clear and concise 
  • Job search and application process – familiarisation with the job search techniques that suit the preferred industry job role being sought  
  • Responding to key selection criteria – understanding the principles and applying them to a specific job, defining transferable skills, strengths and values
  • Interview skills- training and coaching in responding to interview questions and presenting in the best possible light
